Dr. Oluseyi Sode is an Assistant Professor at the Lazaridis School of Business and Economics, Wilfrid Laurier University. He holds a PhD and MSc in Organizational Behaviour, an MBA in General Management, and a BSc in Sociology. Dr. Sode also consults, applying behavioural strategy insights to organizational challenges. He bridges scholarly rigour with practical application in leadership effectiveness and organizational development.
Dr. Sode's program of research explores the intersection of innovation, learning, and organizational dynamics, with particular emphasis on managerial and organizational effectiveness, comparative management and behavioural strategy.
Current Research Projects:
- Epochal Adaptation Framework – Currently advancing this theory-development project examining how organizations respond to current and emerging technologies across human developmental eras. The initial "Strategic Recognition Capability" study investigates how organizations develop the capacity to identify and respond to evolving technological shifts.
- A Dynamic Bonding Framework of Organizational Design – This comprehensive project reconceptualizes organizational design for contemporary complexity.
- Ethnocultural Orientation and Cultural Intelligence (CQ) Spinoffs – Examining how ethnocultural complexity influences leadership adaptability and managerial effectiveness, with particular focus on navigating diverse organizational contexts.
- AI, Career and Work: A Behavioural Perspective – Exploring how artificial intelligence reshapes career trajectories, workplace dynamics, and the future of work from a behavioural strategy lens.
- Paradoxical Leadership and Organizational Learning: Analyzing how leaders navigate the tension between diverse perspectives and organizational coherence in learning contexts.
Working with interdisciplinary research teams and collaborating with industry partners to translate research insights into actionable strategies for organizational development and leadership effectiveness.
