The Southwestern Ontario Suzuki Institute has been running at the Laurier campus every August for over 20 years. During those years we have created a wonderful partnership with Laurier, and have found them to be incredible hosts to the more than 200 students, parents and teachers that attend our Institute each year. Conference services in particular have been tremendously helpful in every possible way, from assisting with accommodation needs, room bookings, A/V support, catering meals and faculty receptions, and effectively troubleshooting every type of situation that occurs, to even being able to move an entire 200+ person orientation session at the last minute when technical issues arose. Having such a dedicated, helpful, gracious team supporting us makes being on the campus a joy we look forward to every year!
Rotary District 7080 has used Laurier Conference Services for weekend training for high school students. Our experience with Laurier staff has been exceptional. Their Conference Services contacts are extremely responsive and make organization easy. The facilities are always clean, the food is always good and ready when we order it, and there is always someone to contact if needed. The check in / check out through their King Street residence is efficient and convenient. To top it off, the cost was more than comparable against other educational and hotel facilities that we compared against. We will definitely continue to use Laurier for our training weekends.
