Business Administration (BBA) + Computer Science (BSc)

We've combined our internationally accredited Bachelor of Business Administration (BBA) degree and our Bachelor of Science (BSc) in Computer Science to create a double-degree program that provides you with the technical know-how to go along with analytical skills and business expertise. Skills in database and internet computing are especially valued as marketing diversifies from print and broadcast media to new technologies, and the market is strong for the technically savvy business graduate.

Apply Your Learning

At Laurier, you'll participate in a number of practical case-based learning opportunities, which include some of the folllowing:

  • Live Case: In your very first semester, you'll work in a group to answer a strategic business question posed by a real company. Cash prizes are awarded to the top teams.
  • New Venture Competition: Working in a team, you'll generate and present a concept, value proposition and business plan for your new endeavour.
  • Pitch Competition: This competition offers you the opportunity to perfect the "art of the pitch," a critical business skill in today’s world.
  • Integrated Case Exercise (ICE) Week: ICE is done in the fourth year of this double degree, which is when the required 300-level BU courses are taken. You'll put your business knowledge to the test during a ten-day live case competition. In groups, you'll analyze a problem facing a real company and offer real solutions to the company's problem.
