Business Administration (BBA) + Financial Mathematics (BA)

Earn a Bachelor of Business Administration (BBA) and a Bachelor of Arts (BA) in Financial Mathematics in this double-degree program in only five years. In your mathematics courses, you’ll build the quantitative expertise needed to analyze risk in business and industry. You’ll understand the theory and the methods that are essential to succeed in the financial sector. In business courses, you'll learn about internal and external business structures and processes while developing the skills to manage them.

Apply Your Learning

At Laurier, you'll participate in a number of practical case-based learning opportunities:

  • Live Case: In your very first semester, you'll work in a group to answer a strategic business question posed by a real company. Cash prizes are awarded to the top teams.
  • New Venture Competition: Working in a team, you'll generate and present a concept, value proposition and business plan for your new venture.
  • Integrated Case Exercise (ICE) Week: ICE is done in the fourth year of this double degree, which is when the required 300-level BU courses are taken. You'll put your business knowledge to the test during a 10-day live case competition. In groups, you'll analyze a problem facing a real company and offer solutions.
