Accept Your Offer
The deadline to accept your offer is June 3, 2024, at 11:59 p.m. ET, unless another date is stated on your offer letter. You will receive your offer through your applicant portal. This webpage contains important instructions on how to accept your offer of admission.
After you accept your offer, you will receive a confirmation email from us to your personal email confirming your enrolment at the university.
How to Accept Your Offer
You must accept your offer of admission through the Ontario Universities’ Application Centre (OUAC) website. There is one exception for students who applied using Laurier's LEAF application, then you accept your offer directly to Laurier. All other applicants must accept their offer in the OUAC application that they used to apply to Laurier.
There are several types of OUAC applications. The instructions below are intended to help you determine where to accept your offer. If you need further assistance, please email chooselaurier@wlu.ca.

These instructions are for applicants who applied using the Undergraduate Application on the OUAC website.
To successfully accept your offer of admission:
- Log in to your OUAC application.
- Click “Accept” to accept the offer.
- Click “I’m ready to submit my response/changes."
- Verify your application information, review the Applicant’s Declaration and click “I verify and agree."
- You will receive a confirmation number by email along with a summary of your responses to offers of admission and/or changes to your application information immediately. Keep this email for your records. We also recommend that you print the confirmation screen, or save a screen capture of it, for your records.
- Once your response is processed and you are able to log back into your application, you will see “Accepted” beside the program you accepted.
Note: It may take 1-3 business days to process your response. Once we receive your acceptance, you’ll receive a confirmation email from us with your next steps.
These instructions are for applicants who applied using Laurier's Part-Time Application.
- Log in to Laurier's Part-Time Application.
- Select “Program Choices” from the Application Links menu, which is on the left of the screen
- Select the “Alternate Offer” hyperlink for the program you want to accept your offer to.
- You will be brought to a screen where you can review the details of your offer and accept it.
- Check the statement “I would like to accept the offer and agree to the terms and conditions outlined in the offer of admission letter.”
- Then select the “Continue” button.
- A pop-up will appear. Select the button that says, “I’m ready to submit my response/changes.”
- Scroll to the bottom of the next screen and select “I Verify and Agree.”
- A pop-up will appear that says, “This will submit your changes to the universities. Continue?”
- Select “OK” to submit your acceptance.
- If your acceptance has been properly submitted, you will see a screen that says, “Complete”.
- You will receive a summary email of your acceptance. We recommend that you save this email for your reference.
- After you complete these steps, it will take 2 to 3 business days for the acceptance to be received by Laurier.
- Once we receive your acceptance, you’ll receive a confirmation email from us with your next steps.
Check Your Laurier Email
The official means of communication between you and Laurier is through your myLaurier.ca email. You should check your Laurier email regularly over the summer months and throughout your time at Laurier, as it will be used to communicate important information to you from staff and faculty
