Classrooms and Amphitheatres

There are more than 75 classrooms throughout the campus that can accommodate groups of all sizes. With capacities ranging from 50 to 1,000, there is a space to fit every group’s needs.

Lazaridis Hall Auditorium

This 1,000-seat auditorium is a state-of-the-art venue that offers exceptional sound, lighting and projection capability. With 435 seats in the main lower level, 340 seats on the balcony level and 660 on the main floor level, this unique space is well equipped for lectures, community concerts, conferences and special events.

Theatre Auditorium

This is an air-conditioned, multipurpose auditorium, with a seating capacity of 800. The flexible space can be arranged for performances, worship services, concerts, public lectures and social events.

Maureen Forrester Recital Hall

As the main performance space for Laurier’s Faculty of Music, the amphitheatre facility has an impressive sound system and can accommodate performances, guest speakers and business meetings. The recital hall holds 323 guests and the adjacent foyer has a capacity of up to 350 guests. The foyer is ideal for receptions or welcoming ceremonies.

Paul Martin Centre

This multipurpose space, with a capacity of 100, is ideal for banquets and meetings.

Senate and Board Chamber

This formal meeting space can accommodate up to 175 guests and provides an exceptional setting that can be arranged for banquets, receptions and meetings.

Robert Langen Art Gallery

Located in Laurier's library, the gallery promotes an appreciation and enjoyment of Canadian art and culture and can be opened for viewing during special events. Small receptions can also be held in this premier campus space.

Athletic Complex

Laurier is home to some of the premium recreation facilities in the Waterloo region. The three-court, air-conditioned gymnasium can accommodate more than 2,000 guests using bleachers and chairs and is an ideal space for large conferences, trade shows and events. Recreation activities include an all-season turf field, fitness facility, Olympic-length pool, multipurpose meeting rooms, dance studios and rock wall.

Turret

With more than 10,000 square feet of dynamic space, Laurier’s student bar is an alternative for meetings, social gatherings, banquet dinners and dances.

Wilf's

This full-service restaurant and bar provides a relaxing and fun atmosphere for catered functions for up to 250 people.

University Stadium

This outdoor venue, with a capacity of up to 6,000, offers a turf field, 400-metre outdoor track and gymnasium.
