The Laurier Hub for Community Solutions will launch the inaugural Summit for Creative Community Solutions – an event highlighting innovative projects in Brantford and the surrounding area, on Thursday, May 16, 2024, from 9 a.m. to 3 p.m at Laurier Brantford's Research and Academic Centre.
Focusing on three themes: 'Innovation, Sustainability, Inclusion', the Summit will address key community challenges, featuring diverse speakers and interactive sessions to engage participants.
Local artists and performers will demonstrate how arts and culture can drive innovative solutions, fostering a more vibrant and inclusive society. The goal is to establish an annual event in Brantford that will provide opportunities to showcase and learn about community solutions.
The event will consist of inspirational keynote lectures, presentations, and interactive workshops featuring community leaders, academics, creators, and entrepreneurs. It will also include poster presentations showcasing creative solutions from various communities.
