You are given preference if you have completed or are completing a four-year degree with a minimum of 20 full credits. If you present a three-year degree, you’ll still be considered for admission into your program of choice. If you present a college/applied degree, you will be assessed on a case-by-case basis. Mature students must meet the same requirements as all other candidates.

Admission Average

  • You need a minimum academic average of 70% (B-) on your most recently completed 10.0 full-credit or 20 half-credit undergraduate university courses.
  • Your admission average is calculated using undergraduate courses that are completed by September 1 of the year preceding your anticipated enrolment.
  • If you are taking courses in the fall term (September to December), we consider those courses only to ensure that you meet the subject requirements for your teaching subject; we will not include them in your overall admission average or your teaching subject average. Any courses that you take during the winter 2025 term (January to April) will not be considered towards your teaching subject requirements. You must submit an unofficial transcript showing your updated grade information by January 10, 2025.
